Fallece Sid Bucknor

El hombre que tanto hizo para el desarrollo del Ska, el Rocksteady y el Reggae falleció el pasado 9 de Mayo de cancer en el St Charles Hospital, Ladbroke Grove de Londres.

Sid Bucknor trabajo para estudios como , Federal, Studio One, Channel One, Treasure Isle, Harry J, Randys, King Tubbys o Joe Gibbs en Jamaica para más tarde, en los 70, establecerse en Inglaterra donde siguió su trabajo dentro de la industria para Island’s Basing Street Studios, Chalk Farm Studio, , Hackney Community College Studio, Tony King Studio, y muchos más.

Sid trabajó con algunas de las mayores estrellas del Reggae incluyendo Bob Marley and the Wailers para los que grabó y mezcló «Catch a Fire», «Burning» y «Natty Dread». Otors artistas fueron and the Maytals, Desmond Dekker, Alton Ellis, BB Seaton, Ken Boothe, , entre muchos otros.
